Hundreds of thousands of workers have begun their work in Bac Ninh’s industrial parks following the Tet holiday. Some businesses organized welcoming ceremonies and handed out lucky money to their workers.

Dinh Xuan Mai, who works at the Johnson Health Vietnam Company in Thuan Thanh Industrial Park, said: “We’re getting back to work right away. In the New Year we hope to have better productivity than last year.”

Factories in Bac Ninh’s industrial parks are employing 340,000 workers. Bac Ninh province strives to continue to lead Vietnam in attracting investment in 2025, as Vuong Quoc Tuan, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, put it.

"Workers have returned to work immediately after the holiday. We hope that with new aspirations and mindset, the province’s production value will make remarkable progress," said Tuan.

In Ho Chi Minh City, a majority of workers have returned to work. “I’m really excited because there’s a lot of work to do. The workers have returned with a strong sense of motivation.”

"I feel very happy to be back at work and see my colleagues again. The company’s work is going well. I hope the company will continue to thrive.”

Enterprises in Ho Chi Minh City believe that 100% of workers will return to work in the next few days. According to Tran Viet Anh, Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Business Association, “Everybody is eagerly coming back to work. They really roll up their sleeves and want to get the job done. Orders are waiting for them to fulfill. Export demand is increasing.”
