(VOVWORLD) - Nestled in the lush green mountains and forests of Lam Dong province, Zoodoo Zoo has become an appealing destination for visitors of all ages.

“As a friendly ecotourism zoo and cafe in Da Lat, Zoodoo only has medium sized and small animals that people can easily approach. Visitors can learnfun facts about animals in their natural living environment.”
That’s the introduction of a zoo called Zoodoo in Da Lat city. Here, visitors can get close to the animals to pet and feed them. Kangaroos, camels, Shetland ponies, sheep, cats, and capybaras look adorable.
Five-year-old Bao Thi said: “My favorites are the hamsters and rabbits because they’re so cute. And the capybara – it’s called the ‘Minister of Foreign Affairs’.”
Four-year-old Tuan Hoang was excited to see the animals. “I like the cats the most. They are gentle.”

In an area of 16 hectares, Zoodoo Zoo is divided into separate zones, creating a sense of closeness and safety.
Hong Nhung, a visitor from Hanoi, said: “Zoodoo is an ideal place for family activities. Children learn to love nature, while adults like us can enjoy the tranquil scenery and take photos. Another plus is the fresh air, which is so different from the noisy city.”
Located about 30 kilometers from downtown Da Lat, Zoodoo is a short trip full of experiences. The zoo staff will explain to visitorsabout the origins and habits of the animals.
“This kangaroo cares for its baby in a pouch. The new-born kangaroo is very small since the pregnancy lasts only 30 days. At birth, it’s only the size of two human fingers. Despite being tiny, the newborn instinctively crawls into the mother’s pouch, where it lives for 6 months to 1 year,” said a zoo staff.

Although there are more than 40 species at Zoodoo Zoo, they are all friendly and approachable.
However, safety for visitors is always a top priority, said Tien Huy, a tour guide at Zoodoo. “Each tour group is accompanied by a guide, and every zone has assistants on duty. They keep a close watch, especially when there are large crowds or many children. The animals that children can interact with are all carefully tamed and trained.”
Built in an architectural style inspired by Australian zoos, Zoodoo Da Lat offers camping grounds, cafés, and various entertainment services, creating a relaxing getaway for visitors.
