10 new imported cases of COVID-19 reported in Vietnam

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam confirmed 10 new imported cases of COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, bringing the national infection tally to 2,081, according to the Health Ministry.

The latest patients were quarantined upon arrival. 

More than 2,400 COVID-19 patients in Vietnam have fully recovered and 35 have died.

It’s been 66 days since the latest community infections of COVID-19 were recorded in Hai Duong, the epicenter of the third wave of COVID-19 that hit Vietnam on January 27. Hanoi has gone 63 days without a new community infection.

As of Monday, more than 80,000 people in Vietnam had received the COVID-19 vaccine.
