10,000 national flags given to fishermen in Phu Yen
(VOVWORLD) -Laborer Newspaper and the People's Committee of Phu Yen province on Tuesday presented 10,000 national flags to local fishermen at a ceremony at Dong Tac fishing port, Tuy Hoa city.

The gifting of the national flag to fishermen aims to galvanize their spirit while staying at sea and affirm the sovereignty of the sacred sea and islands of the Fatherland.
Since June 2019, the Laborer Newspaper has implemented a program called "One million national flags for fishermen at sea". Now after more than two years, more than 460,000 national flags have been given to fishermen in 19 coastal provinces and cities nationwide. The Laborer Newspaper has presented more than 30,000 national flags to soldiers and people living along the land border in eight provinces.
