(VOVworld) - The 10th National Radio Broadcasting Festival opens in Hanoi tonight, honoring outstanding radio works and broadcasters all over Vietnam. More than 190 entries have been selected to compete for 16 gold, 30 silver and 70 bronze prizes. The 3-day festival is jointly organized by Radio the Voice of Vietnam and the Hanoi Radio and TV station. An exhibition featuring the latest broadcasting technology and equipment has also opened in Hanoi, attracting numerous audio and visual companies from Vietnam and abroad. Phan Viet Quan is Director of Chi Duc company, which participates in the exhibition:“This is a festival of broadcasters. We’re showcasing equipment and technology that can be used for both radio and TV broadcasting. The exhibition offers an opportunity for us to bring our products to end users”.

In related news, Radio the Voice of Vietnam has hosted a workshop on prize-wining broadcasts from the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union, and seminars on radio broadcasting and multimedia and music integration.
