According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Vietnam released an announcement from the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), stating it will allow 12 Vietnamese seafood enterprises to resume exporting seafood products to Saudi Arabia.

This is good news at a time when markets are sluggish due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Ministry of Industry and Trade will continue to work with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and other agencies to persuade the SFDA to allow additional Vietnamese seafood companies to export to the Saudi Arabia.
