(VOVworld) - The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development yesterday approved MOVIMAR satellite receivers for 157 fishing ships. The receivers will help the ships update weather forecasts and contact other ships and offices on the mainland. The three-year MOVIMAR project, begun last year with official development assistance from France, will install satellite receivers in the fishing ships of 28 coastal provinces and cities for free.
