Under the theme “Ethnic groups in the central region – United, preserving, and promoting national cultural identity – Contributing to national sustainable development”, the event attracted more than 300 artisans, actors, actresses, and athletes from 13 central provinces. Hoang Duc Hau, Director of the Department of Ethnic Culture of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, spoke at the opening ceremony: “The event takes place in the space of Sen Village Festival 2015 which commemorates historical events of May in the hometown of President Ho Chi Minh. This is an opportunity for people to express their love and gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh. It strengthens solidarity, improves commitment to order, upholds traditional patriotism, and contributes to economic development.”
