2nd Hanoi International Film Festival wraps up

(VOVworld) – Vietnam’s feature film “Thien Menh Anh Hung” (Blood Letter), directed by Victor Vu, has won the jury special prize at the 2nd Hanoi International Film Festival (HANIFF) which ended on Thursday.

The 5-day festival, themed “Pacific-Asia cinematography - Unity and Development”, attracted 37 films of the Asia-Pacific countries and territories to compete for Best Feature Film, Best Short Film, Best Cartoon, and Best Documentary. The winners of HANIFF Talent Campus, an arena for young film makers, were named. The inaugural new talent was producer-director Nguyen Hoang Diep, with other winners being Best Script Writer Do Minh Tu and Best Producer Nguyen Vu Duc, who all come from Vietnam.
