(VOV)- The second conference for overseas Vietnamese with the theme “Vision to 2020-Overseas Vietnamese join national development and integration” opened in Ho Chi Minh City today. More than 1,000 delegates are attending the event, organized by the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the HCM City People’s Committee. The conference will focus on integration and economic development issues; cultural identity and national traditions; overseas Vietnamese academics; industrialization and modernization; and overseas entrepreneurs working for the future of communities and country.
