340 Vietnamese brought home from Japan

(VOVWORLD) - More than 340 Vietnamese citizens stuck in Japan due to the Covid-19 pandemic flew home on Friday on a flight organized by Vietnamese and Japanese authorities.

Among those who landed at Da Nang International Airport, were children, the elderly, the sick, pregnant women, workers whose visas had expired and students who had completed their studies in Japan.

All the returnees underwent medical examinations and were quarantined on arrival as per Vietnam’s Covid-19 control regulations.

Those tested positive to corona virus will be immediately sent to health facilities for treatment to prevent any community infections.
