41 reported killed after Russian aircraft catches fire

(VOVWORLD) -Forty-one people on board a Russian Aeroflot passenger plane were killed on Sunday due to the aircraft’s fire which forced it to make an emergency landing at a Sheremetyevo airport on the outskirts of Moscow.

The Superjet 100 plane, which had been flying from Moscow to the northern Russian city of Murmansk, had been carrying 73 passengers and five crew members on board. The names of passengers were released by Russia’s Federal News Agency (FAN) on Sunday. There has not been yet official information about their nationalities.
