In his address, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc highlighted the important role of the Air and Air Defense Force in the national liberation struggles, particularly in the 12-day and night campaign in 1972. Phuc stressed the need to strengthen the force to make them ready for national defense: "We need to develop a strong force in terms of humans and weapons, equipment, focus on human resource development considering it a decisive factor in protecting the country. We should focus on improving the combating capacity, maintaining the Party leadership in all situations. Each soldier and official must maintain strong political stance, high determination, and self-reliance."

The Prime Minister  asked the Air and Air Defense force to strengthen international integration and national external activities and strictly follow the Party’s external relation policy.
