6 more domestic cases of COVID-19 reported Sunday noon

(VOVWORLD) - The Health Ministry on Sunday noon confirmed 6 new domestic COVID-19 infections, all in quarantine areas.
5 of the new patients were recorded at K Hospital, a leading cancer treatment facility, in Tan Trieu Commune in Hanoi's Thanh Tri District. The hospital has been under lockdown since May 7 as a coronavirus cluster.

The other case is a 37-year-old woman in the northern province of Hung Yen, who was in close contact with a COVID-19 patient and had been previously quarantined. She is being treated at the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Hanoi.

The latest cases have brought Sunday's infection tally to 133, including 127 confirmed in the morning.

Since the new wave of COVID-19 broke out on April 27, Vietnam has reported 1,086 new local cases of COVID-19 in 26 cities and provinces.

The country has recorded 4,118 infections since the start of the pandemic, including 2,668 recoveries and 36 deaths.
