600 Vietnamese citizens return home safely from Ukraine

(VOVWORLD) - Two flights carrying nearly 600 Vietnamese citizens, who fled Ukraine to Poland and Romania, arrived on Sunday morning in Hanoi. The flights were funded by Sun Group and conducted by Vietnam Airlines after being approved by the Government.

Flight VN58 carrying 288 people from Warsaw landed at Noi Bai Airport at 9:30 am. Flight VN68 carrying 291 people from Bucharest landed at Noi Bai Airport at 11 am.

The Vietnamese embassies in Poland and Romania coordinated with Vietnamese associations to bring returnees to the airport, send staff to help with necessary procedures and work closely with local authorities to create favorable conditions for them to return home.
