(VOVWORLD) - As of Sunday, 80 countries had restricted South Korean visitors because of coronavirus fears.
South Korea has called on countries not to apply entry restrictions on its citizens. Nevertheless, many countries have banned travelers from South Korea’s Daegu and North Gyeongsang province. 80 % of confirmed cases have been in these two areas.
South Korea on Sunday confirmed 586 new infections. There have been 20 fatalities.
