90% of COVID-19 patients in Vietnam recover
(VOVWORLD) - 14 more COVID-19 patients in Vietnam were declared free from the new coronavirus on Monday, bringing the total number of recoveries to 293 or 90% of the cases recorded in the country so far.
Monday also marked the 46th consecutive day Vietnam has seen no new community transmission of COVID-19. Of the 328 cases detected, two thirds were imported and quarantined upon arrival. No death has been reported.
As more flights bring Vietnamese citizens home, new arrivals will be subject to a mandatory 14-day quarantine period.
