The Voice of Vietnam’s radio program called “Happiness of a great tiny man” received a Commendation Prize in the category of ABU Perspective Prize for the theme of Respect.

VOV receives one Commendation Prize at ABU Prize 2020

The program features a story about tiny teacher Nguyen Van Hung in Nghe An province. The teacher is 33 years old but he is as small as a 7 year-old boy due to pituitary dwarfism. Despite his deficiency, the teacher has helped others including the disabled to overcome difficulties. VOV has 5 entries in the final round of the competition.

The Asia Broadcasting Union, based in Kuala Lumpur, is the largest and most prestigious broadcasting organization in Asia with 279 members in 73 countries and territories and 3 million listeners. The Voice of Vietnam has been an ABU member since 1964.
