(VOVworld) – A wide range of activities are taking place in Quang Ngai province in response to this year’s Workers’ Month. Trade unions of local agencies, units, and businesses have provided the local people with free medicines and healthcare check-ups, plus launched a campaign to help build houses for poor workers.

Le Tan Tu, deputy president of Quang Ngai provincial Trade Union, said: "We have agreed to cooperate with the provincial Department of Trade and Commerce to offer workers in industrial zones with made-in Vietnamese goods at good prices. We have also coordinated with the local Youth Union to organize groups of doctors to provide free medicine, healthcare check-ups, and counseling activities for poor workers."
