(VOVworld) – Activities are underway to mark the 65^th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day on July 27^th. A delegation of central and Hai Duong provincial leaders, led by Party Central Committee’ Secretary, NA Deputy Chairwoman Nguyễn Thị Kim Ngân yesterday visited and presented gifts for 3 families of martyrs and people who rendered great services to the nation in Hai Duong province. Mrs. Ngan urged the provincial authorities to further implement the ordinance on preferential treatment for revolutionary contributors, speed up paying debt of gratitude, caring and providing them allowance, and improve living conditions for families of war invalids, martyrs, and people who rendered great services to the nation.

The same day, the Communist Party of Vietnam Online Newspaper, the Tuyen Quang provincial Committee for Propaganda and Education, and the SVA Financial Investment Group held a ceremony to grant 50 saving books for policy beneficiary families and revolutionary contributors in Sơn Dương district, Tuyen Quang province. Vinh Phuc province hosted a meeting to honor outstanding national contributors and agencies which takes care of heroic Vietnamese mothers. Long An provincial authorities visited and presented gifts worth 7.5 billion VND for 38 thousand people including heroic Vietnamese mothers, war invalids, revolutionaries infected with chemicals, and families of martyrs and contributors.
