ADB, WB support online bidding in Vietnam
(VOVWORLD) - The Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the World Bank (WB) announced Thursday they will use the Vietnam National E-Procurement System (VNEPS) to conduct online bidding for construction and goods supply contracts for their projects.
Their aim is to enhance the competitiveness, effectiveness, and transparency of project procurement.
The ADB, the WB, and relevant agencies plan to carry out online bidding for 15 procurement packages worth more than 71 million USD for projects funded by the two banks.
Bid forms will be e-published by the VNEPS and bidders will compile and submit their bid dossiers online.
