The 2nd Health Human Resources Development Project will further improve the quality of health professional training at each university.

A 3-million-USD grant from the Japan Fund for Poverty Reduction, financed by the Government of Japan and to be managed by ADB, will be used to update training programmes to ensure graduates acquire more pointed skills to address community health needs, particularly in disadvantaged areas.

It will also help improve the work of medical staff at remote clinics through online-training programs.
