In an urgent dispatch to the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV), the ministry said it is in line with the Prime Minister’s conclusion at an online meeting on ways to better cope with the Covid-19 epidemic with leaders of Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Can Tho, and Hai Phong.

According to the ministry, the suspension will not be applied to those entering Vietnam for diplomatic and official purposes, for participation in major diplomatic events, and to experts, business managers, highly skilled workers, and those receiving entry approval of the national committee on Covid-19 prevention and control.
