All Souls’ Day 2021 pays tribute to frontline COVID-19 mothers

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnamese All Souls’Day known as the Vu Lan festival this year will take place at 8 pm on Saturday to honor parents, especially mothers, who are working day and night on the frontline of the battle against COVID-19.

The celebration will link Ba Vang Pagoda in Quang Ninh province, Thien An Pagoda in Binh Dinh province, and Field Hospital No. 7 in Ho Chi Minh City.

The event, organized by the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, will feature prayers and touching stories from frontline COVID-19 mothers to inspire people to continue the fight.
