Presentations confirmed that Vietnam’s path to socialism is the aspiration of Vietnamese people and a wise decision of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President Ho Chi Minh, and suits global evolution.

Professor, Doctor Vu Van Hien, Vice President of the Party Central Committee’s Theoretical Council, stressed the need to thoroughly understand the situation, grasp opportunities, and overcome challenges to steer the nation to the socialist path.

“Combining the strength of the nation and the era is a core matter in international relations. It’s necessary to build a long-term foreign strategy with neighbor countries, the region, and traditional friends. It’s important for bringing the Party’s resolution in to life,” said Mr. Hien.

Vietnam’s first Platform clearly states the goals of national independence in association with socialism, an independent nation, and happy and free people. In the new period, Vietnam targets to keep abreast with other world powers.”
