During his stay, Mr. Pashinyan held talk with Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and met with National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan and representatives from the Vietnam-Armenia Friendship Association, and Vietnamese companies.

During the meetings, both sides said the Vietnam visit will create a breakthrough in bilateral ties, contribute to their multifaceted cooperation, and live up to the expectations of leaders and benefits of people.

Vietnam and Armenia agreed to boost delegation exchanges and coordination at multilateral forums, including  the UN, the Francophone Community, and the Non-Aligned Movement, to contribute to peace, stability, and development. Both consented to expand cooperation education-training, health care, culture, sports, tourism, security, and defense.

They discussed regional and global issues of mutual concern, including peaceful settlement of disputes in Asia-Pacific, particularly the East Sea.

During the visit, the two Prime Ministers witnessed the signing of an agreement on educational and scientific cooperation between the Vietnamese and Armenian governments.
