Army Games 2021: Russia appreciates Vietnamese shooters’ skills

(VOVWORLD) -Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army, visited Seltsy military training ground in Ryazan province of Russia to watch Vietnamese shooters’ competition as part of the ongoing International Army Games 2021.

Lieutenant General Tan, who is leading a high-ranking Vietnam People’s Army delegation to visit Russia, encouraged members of the Vietnamese team and expressed his hope that they will show best performance while ensure safety against COVID-19.

Major General Anatoly Georgievich Kontsevoi, Deputy Commander of the airborne forces of Russia and main referee of the Sniper Frontier contest, paid a courtesy call to the Vietnamese delegation. He spoke highly of Vietnamese gunmen’s good skills and high sense of discipline, adding that the Vietnamese sniper team boasts high potential to enter the semi-final scheduled for Tuesday.

The International Amy Games 2021 is hosted by Russia with 36 competitions in 12 countries and territories.
