(VOVworld) – A music show took place at the Hanoi Opera House on Wednesday, featuring contemporary and traditional music such as ca tru (Vietnamese ceremonial singing) and xam singing (ancient folk songs performed by blind beggars). It was part of a series of regular top-notch art performances hosted by the Hanoi Opera House.

The show, entitled “Echoing sounds of the capital”, illustrated the thousand-year history of Hanoi through legendary songs.
Emeritus artist Thanh Lam said: “The program is well-staged and of artistic value. I hope such high-quality performances like this will attract more and more audience to the Hanoi Opera House”.
