(VOVworld) – The Ho Chi Minh City Communist Youth Union held the ASEAN Youth Forum 2015 on Friday. Youth representatives of ASEAN member countries, including Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam, participated in the forum.

The event will include photo exhibition, introducing ASEAN countries’ traditional culture. Participants will present their countries’ cultural unique and discuss solutions to uphold youth’s role in preserving national characters amid integration. Nguyen Manh Cuong is Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Communist Youth Union: “ASEAN motto is unity in diversification because each country has its own national character. This requires every youth to make more efforts to uphold their national characters in order to integrate into an ASEAN community in the future. The forum’s activity is an opportunity for regional youth to connect together and affirmed their friendship.”
The participants will visit some Ho Chi Minh City’s historical cultural relic sites.
