Asia’s most prestigious aviation forum opens in Da Nang
(VOVWORLD) - Routes Asia 2022, the most prestigious regional aviation development forum, opened in the central city of Da Nang on Monday, drawing representatives from 200 airlines, airports, and aviation service suppliers from 42 countries and territories.

Before the COVID-19 pandemic, Da Nang emerged as a new destination in Asia with 39 international air routes and 500 flights per week.
Da Nang Chairman Le Trung Chinh said, “We aim to restore Da Nang’s aviation industry to the pre-pandemic level within 2 years, starting from 2022. We plan to connect Da Nang with remote destinations such as the US, Europe and the Middle East and open new routes to India and Southeast Asia.”
