The two sides expressed their delight at the development of bilateral relationship, including cooperation between the two National Assemblies and Parliamentarian Friendship Associations.

At a meeting with Sydney's Deputy Mayor Jess Scully and multicultural CEO Joseph La Posta, Ambassador Thanh thanked their support for the Vietnamese community and asked them to encourage the young generation to preserve Vietnamese culture, language, and identity.

During a meeting with investment agencies and businesses, he underlined Vietnam’s wish to boost trade and investment with New South Wales.

The Ambassador met with Vietnamese intellectuals and students and expressed his wish that they would be the bridge connecting the Vietnamese community in Australia and make positive contributions to the two countries' relations.
