(VOVworld) - A full moon festival was held in Hanoi on Thursday for 1,000 of the city’s disadvantaged children. Called “Listen to what children say”, the program’s goal was to bring a happy Mid-Autumn Festival to needy children.

Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan presented 30 scholarships worth 900 USD each to students with outstanding academic performance and local authorities donated 1,000 gift packages to children at child protection centers.
