(VOVworld) – A conference introducing a shipbuilding design and managment software application was held on Thursday by the Vietnam Shipbuilding Industry Association, Hanoi University of Technology and the AVEVA group.

AVEVA’s shipbuilding design software is among the most advanced shipbuilding software on the market. It has been used in design and materials and human resources management by several ship manufacturers; shipbuilding, design, and repair firms; and drilling platforms and other marine projects. At the conference, the AVEVA group donated the shipbuilding software to Vietnamese universities offering a shipbuilding major to use in their curriculum for the next 10 years.
