(VOVworld) – An award ceremony of the song-writing contest about the National Assembly opened in Hanoi on Monday. NA Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung attended the event. The winning songs reflected the development of Vietnam’s National Assembly over the past 70 years.

Head of the NA Office Nguyen Hanh Phuc said the songs will be broadcast on mass media and performed at the 70^th anniversary of the 1^st general election. “The songs have been performed at community music festivals in provinces and cities. The song-writing contest and the community music festivals have promoted songs about the NA nationwide.”
