(VOVworld) - Vietnam’s localities have many advantages to attract investment from companies in the Flanders region, said Ralph Moreau, Economic and Trade Counsellor for the Flemish Region from Flanders Invest & Trade (FIT), at a seminar that opened in Ghent on Wednesday to promote investment in Vietnam under the framework of the Accenta International Trade Fair 2014.
Seminar speakers described Vietnam as a fast-growing economy with political stability, a low-cost labor force, and an open market.
With its many advantages, Vietnam is capable of becoming one of the biggest economies of the 21st century. To reach this goal, Vietnam should restructure itself as an industrialized economy to attract foreign investment, suggested the speakers.

Flanders is cooperating with HCM City and the central highlands province of Lam Dong to grow flowers and vegetables. The region has also helped Vietnam in education development. This year, Vietnam’s Can Tho city is the honorary guest of the ACCENTA Flanders International Trade Fair in 2014, which opened in Ghent last Saturday.
