Ben Tre exports first batch of fruit to EU under EVFTA
(VOVWORLD) - The first batch of fruit from the Mekong Delta province of Ben Tre was exported to the European Union on Thursday with a zero percent tariff under the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement.

The Vina T&T Group will ship one container of fresh coconuts by sea and three tons of dragon fruit by air.
Fruit is one of Vietnam’s principle exports to the EU market. In the first seven months of 2020, fruit exports to EU totaled nearly 59 million USD.
