BIDV strives to become one of leading financial institutions in Southeast Asia

(VOVWORLD) -Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai on Wednesday tasked Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) with becoming one of the Top 20 banks in Southeast Asia and Top 100 banks in Asia Pacific by 2030.

BIDV on Wednesday marked its 65th founding anniversary in Hanoi.

Addressing  the ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Khai affirmed that after 65 years of construction and growth, BIDV has become a leading commercial bank in Vietnam in terms of scale, quality, efficiency, financial capacity, institutional development.

It is also one of the leading units that has effectively implemented the guidelines and policies of the Party and the State on supporting people with meritorious services and policy beneficiaries, ensuring social security and fulfilling corporate social responsibilities, he said.

On this occasion, BIDV was awarded the third class Labor Order by Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan, second class Development Order of Laos, and the Sahametrei Order, Moha Sena class, of Cambodia.
