Binh Dinh province asked to guide the people to implement the Constitution
(VOVworld) – National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung attended the year-end meeting of Binh Dinh province’s People’s Council on Tuesday. He praised the province’s efforts to build up the party and administration, and ensure social security.
He asked the province to pay more attention to agriculture, farmers and rural areas, and the application of technological advances in agricultural production. Hung said: “Agriculture, rural areas and farmers remain one of our priorities. We should boost urbanization in parallel with rural development. Rural development plus forestry and marine development will help to improve the lives of people in rural areas, who account for 80% of the local population.”
Chairman Hung said that the province should guide the local people in implementing the newly revised Constitution, which is aimed at boosting reform as the basis for future growth. He also asked the province to focus on efforts to restore from flood's aftermath and adjust its industrial planning until 2020.
