(VOVworld) - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has urged the southern coastal province of Binh Thuan to develop its maritime economy, tourism, high quality agriculture and renewable energy. He spoke to an investment promotion conference on Wednesday: “I repeat the government’s view to develop clean energy center in Binh Thuan, including gas generated power plants, wind and solar farm. Binh Thuan will become an international tourism center and a center for titanium deep processing.”

The Prime Minister called for improvement in administrative procedures to create an open business climate and enable Binh Thuan to become one of the top 20 provinces in the provincial competitive index. 

At the event, investment licenses were presented to 14 projects worth a total of 1.86 billion USD, and a memorandum of understanding on investment in 20 projects worth 3.6 billion USD was signed.
