(VOVWORLD) - UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has admitted that it will be “touch and go” whether key goals will be met at the climate conference in Glasgow.

The Prime Minister said he fears the major summit he will host from Sunday could fail to make the progress needed.
He hopes COP26 will adopt plans to limit global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius above the pre-industrial average this century and reach an agreement to deliver net zero emissions by 2050.
The COP26 conference has been called humanity's "last best chance" to get devastating climate change under control. More than 120 world leaders are expected to attend the event.
