(VOVworld) – Hoang Binh Quan, member of the Party Central Committee and envoy of Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong visited Cambodia over the last 2 days.

He briefed Cambodian officials on the outcomes of Vietnam’s 12^th National Party Congress. During meetings with Prime Minister Hunsen and National Assembly speaker Heng Somrin, Mr. Quan said that Vietnam will continue its foreign policy of independence, self-reliance, peace, cooperation, and development, multilateralization and diversification of international relations, and active international integration to maintain a peaceful, stable environment for development. He said that Vietnam values ties with Cambodia and will continue to consolidate their neighborliness and friendship.

The Cambodian leaders congratulated Vietnam on its 12^th National Party Congress and expressed their belief in Vietnam’s greater future success under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
