Cautions urged despite impressive 9-month economic growth
(VOVWORLD) - The National Assembly Standing Committee asked the Government on Tuesday to prepare for inflation and economic stagnation despite impressive growth since the beginning of this year.

Vietnam’s GDP expanded 13% in the third quarter and 8.83% over the past 9 months, according to a Government report.
Focus should be given to a flexible monetary policy and investment in prioritized areas, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai suggested.
“We have to prepare for the risk of global economic stagnation to secure stability while implementing cautious and flexible monetary policies. The economy should be fed with sufficient credit,” said Mr. Hai.
