Shops are open again.

Le Van Tuan, owner of a restaurant in LocTho ward, said: “We’re very happy that we  can resume our business. We have launched many promotions to attract customers. We’ll try to minimize direct contact and keep safe distance among customers. We have prepared hand sanitizer for customers.”

Historical sites in the central province of ThuaThien Hue have been disinfected to prepare for re-opening day.

People go to the beach after many days of closure.

Vo Nhat Le, Director of Hue Monuments Conservation Centre, said they will open 3 or 4 places such as the Forbidden City and palaces. “We will inform travel agencies about our plan so they can arrange tours. We will continue to avoid gatherings of many people and arrange groups of tourists to visit different sites,” Le said. 

In Hoi An city in Quang Nam province, many hotels and restaurants opened on Thursday. The Tra Que vegetable village and Thanh Ha Pottery village by the Thu Bon river are open to visitors. The villages used to receive around 3,000 to 4,000 visitors a day before the pandemic.
