Xi said China supports Iran’s constructive role in regional issues and is willing to communicate and coordinate closely with Iran to facilitate long-term peace and stability in the region.

China and Iran have vowed to enhance cooperation in all sectors as Chinese President Xi Jinping met Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani in Tehran.

Larijani said Iran is willing to strengthen ties with China in an all-round manner and increase cooperation with China in such areas as economy and trade, investment, energy and infrastructure.
Iran sees China as a priority partner in cooperation and would like to work closely with China in regional and international affairs while beefing up their security cooperation.
