(VOVworld) – Chinese State Councilor Yang Jiechi and General Council Chair of Japan’s ruling Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) Toshihiro Nikai held a meeting on Friday in Beijing.

During their meeting, the two agreed on an importance of boosting bilateral ties. Yang called for both countries to boost bilateral friendship cooperation toward a brighter future.
Nikai said he was willing to promote closer relations in trade, economy, culture, and youth exchange.
