China ready to work with India for 'steady and sound growth' of ties
(VOVWORLD) - Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said Sunday that China is ready to work with India for the "steady and sound growth" of bilateral ties and the two countries are committed to ensuring stability in border areas where tensions have prevailed since 2020.

His comments came days after Indian and Chinese military commanders held a fresh round of talks last Tuesday to resolve issues along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh – the first high-level talks since troops clashed in the Tawang sector of Arunachal Pradesh on December 9.
Wang said China and India have maintained communications through diplomatic and military-to-military channels, and both countries are committed to ensuring stability in border areas.
The two sides agreed to maintain security and stability on the ground in the Western Sector, to stay in close contact, to maintain dialogue through military and diplomatic channels, and to work out a mutually acceptable resolution of the remaining issues.
