China, US may reach currency deal
(VOVWORLD) - There is a possibility of a China-US currency agreement and the US may exempt all tariffs on Chinese products this week, Myron Brilliant, Head of the International Affairs of the US Chamber of Commerce told reporters on Thursday.

US and Chinese officials are meeting in Washington in trade negotiations, hoping to resolve the current trade conflict between the two countries. Brilliant said US Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer, and Chinese Vice-Premier Liu He were "trying to find a path towards the bigger deal" with progress on market access, intellectual property, and other issues.
