Addressing the event, Chinese Ambassador Xiong Bo said China and Vietnam will mark the 70th anniversary of their diplomatic relationship next year. Vietnam and China should comprehensively implement the shared views of high-ranking leaders of the two Parties and continue to uphold the traditional friendship nurtured by previous leaders, he said.

Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue said the Party, State, and people of Vietnam always remember and treasure mutual support between the two Parties and countries during their respective wars of national liberation. He said Vietnam always wishes to promote healthy and sustainable development of the Vietnam-China ties. On the occasion, the Chinese Embassy held a photo exhibition on China’s accomplishments over the past 70 years and trade cooperation between China and Vietnam.
