There are still differing viewpoints on major issues such as carbon emission reduction and supporting countries impacted by global warming. Experts said that during the past week there was no significant progress.

Countries attending COP26 are expected to reach an agreement on a plan to limit global temperature rise to no more than 1.5 degrees Celsius above preindustrial levels, as stated in the 2015 Paris agreement.

Talks are still underway on net-zero emissions, granting 100 billion USD to developing countries, and carbon market regulations.
