(VOVWORLD) - 1,594 new infections of COVID-19 were recorded in Vietnam on Sunday, according to the Ministry of Health.
Hanoi reported the highest number of the new cases (461), followed by Quang Ninh province (88) and Nghe An (80) and Yen Bai (80).
The national tally now stands at 10,696,630.
217 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines, including 2.5 million shots for children from 5 to 11 years old, have been administered nationwide.
